What is Motiff Network? Motiff Network is a platform connecting high-quality creative talent with people who want to hire them.
How do I get started? If you are a client that is looking to hire talent, the first step after registration is to complete your profile and post a job listing for your project/role. If you have registered as a talent, the first step is to complete your profile and upload your portfolio. If you are ever unsure of the next step or need any kind of support, contact your account manager using the messaging system.
I don’t see my activation email. Please check your promotions tab (if using Gmail) or look for it in your spam folder.
I confirmed my email, but I still can’t see much on the site. An account manager assigned to you will reach out and activate your account. It usually happens within a few hours.
What is my "Account Manager"? They are your main point of contact at Motiff. Your account manager is the person who will guide you through the process and assist with any questions you may have.
Who owns the intellectual property? The intellectual property always stays with the client paying for the work.
What is the acceptance process and do I have to go through it? The acceptance process is there to ensure that all creative talent on Motiff are at the top of their game and that we continue to build a network of high-quality UX UI talent for clients to choose from. And yes, the review and approval process is mandatory for all talent.
What does the acceptance process consist of? Our team of experts from different fields will review your portfolio and you will be asked to attend an interview so that we can get to know you better and get a sense for how you communicate and work. After that, you are good to go!

Pricing & Payment
Are there any costs associated with registering on Motiff? No.
When do I pay and how are payments and invoices handled? Prior to hiring talent from Motiff Network, you will be asked to submit a payment method. Talent will submit timesheets on a weekly basis and as soon as a timesheet is approved (or in absence of any activity from you, three days after submission), payment is processed using the payment method on file.
What payment methods do you accept?

What fees does Motiff charge? The fee is already included in the hourly rate displayed on talent’s profile and equates to 14.5% of the overall rate. This fee helps us run the platform, provide account management, talent sourcing and vetting, support etc.

Hiring Talent
How can I be sure of creative talent quality on Motiff? All UX UI designers undergo an extensive screening process which is designed to ensure you get the best people from the industry.
What if I am not satisfied with the creative professional I hired? The first step is to let your account manager know. We will offer a replacement or our in-house UX UI team will complete the work for you.
Can creative talent work on-site? Yes. When searching for people to get the job done, you can choose whether they will work on-site or off-site. This is something to be confirmed and agreed with the designer prior to starting a contract with them.
Can I choose a creative professional from a particular country? Yes.

Applying for a project
Do I need to have fixed working hours? Most of the time, you don’t. However, it depends on the project and the agreement with your client.
Can I work from home? If working off-site, you can work from wherever you want. From home, from the beach etc.
I created an album, but it’s not visible to the public. Every album is reviewed by our team to make sure it represents your work the best way possible. If your album is not visible, it could still be under review. Also, make sure there is no explicit content.
How certain can I be that I will get paid? 100%. We handle the business side and make sure that you always get paid for the work you complete.
How often will I get paid? Payments are processed on a weekly basis. The first payment is usually delayed, depending on the chosen payment method.
I am having problems with the client. What should I do? Inform your account manager as soon as possible and explain exactly what the problem is. We’ll take it from there.
I am not seeing some albums on my feed that were there yesterday. As new projects from new users are uploaded, your feed shows different albums.

Why do I need to fill out a timesheet? For any active job, a timesheet is created and has to be populated each week in order to get paid. Payment is initiated only when a timesheet is submitted by the talent and approved by the client, so this is a really important step to remember.
Do I have to use the Motiff messaging system when writing to the client? You don’t have to, but it makes life easier. Should you ever encounter a problem with the client, we can review the communication within the chat and help come up with a solution.
How do I apply to jobs? Once you have a complete portfolio, applying to jobs is really easy. You simply find the job post that interests you and click “apply”. The client is notified of your application and your profile serves as your resume or CV.
How do I post a job? Click on “post a job” from the “jobs” tab. You may either simply paste a link to your job post (if there is one on your website or third party site) or create a post from scratch.
What are shouts? Shouts are a way for designers to share snippets of projects they are working on and check-in to see what others are up to. It’s an additional marketing tool for designers and a way to stay visible to potential clients. From the client’s perspective, it’s a way to see who is active and working on new things.
What is the creative feed? The creative feed is a collection of albums. For designers, it is where you can find inspiration before starting your day. For clients, it is a way to glance through various albums and see whose work really catches your eye.
